In collaboration with the Arts Council of Winston-Salem, the Valuable Woman (Mujer Valiosa) Community, and Guipil Publishing, the Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts is honored to host a riveting new exhibition by the renowned local artist Victor Aparicio. Titled “The Heart of Güipil - Photographs that Stir the Soul:
Images narrating stories". This exposition delves deep into the soul of Latin culture, traditions, and everyday life.
Showcasing his exceptional talent in capturing raw emotion, Victor’s collection revolves around three primary themes:
– Culture: Offering a glance into the lives of the community and their traditions.
– Work: Celebrating the spirit of individuals across age groups and the beauty embedded in their work.
– Landmark: Transporting viewers to iconic scenes saturated in rich Latino traditions and nature’s bounty.
